Job summary

Farringdon James Limited is seeking a qualified accountant to lead management accounting, financial control and budgeting. You will prepare forecasts, provide analyses and ensure timely period end reporting.

You should be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with strong Excel and SAGE proficiency, and capable of working under pressure while supporting business development, with an emphasis on control and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with management accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Experience with SAGE accounting software.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide management accounting service to Directors and Managers.
• Produce period management accounts within 15 working days of period end.
• Prepare concise commentary on management accounts within 15 days.
• Perform financial appraisal of projects and monitor outcomes.
• Review performance against budgets and financial objectives.
• Prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
