UK-based, with occasional on-site meetings in the UK. You will oversee accounting operations, lead month-end close, and drive financial strategy within a growing division.

Finance Manager / Controller SME - Fully Remote

Our client is a £15m division of a global group seeking an entry level Financial Controller. Ideal for a Finance Manager looking to step up into an FC role. Would suite straight from practice as well as industry trained.

It is essential you are a fully qualified accountant and preferably have experience working within the telecommunications sector. IFRS 15 / 16 would be hugely beneficial. The role can be based anywhere in the UK but you must be working and living in the UK as occasional on-site meetings will be required

The Financial Controller role offers remote management and will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations.

About the Role

As Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for overseeing financial management, corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, and internal controls. You'll lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while also managing audits, financial reporting, and cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Revenue Recognition
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax, VAT, and statutory reporting
• Manage cash flow, payroll, and month-end accounts
• Lead financial audits, internal controls, and IFRS compliance
• Conduct financial forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning
• Support reporting to the parent company, including quarterly and annual financial reviews

What We're Looking For

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in audit and financial control
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS reporting, financial processes, and internal controls
• Previous experience and understanding of accounting for Multi Entities
• Proficiency in financial systems such as NetSuite, BPC, and Salesforce
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
