Job Description:

Fantastic opportunity for an established Financial Controller or Finance Manager to join an ambitious and growing SaaS business on a part-time basis.

As they scale, they are seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee financial management and provide strategic guidance to support sustainable growth. You will work closely with the Board and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity and align strategies with company goals.

The role includes:

• Tracking and analyzing key KPIs.
• Partnering with leadership on pricing models, unit economics, and growth forecasts.
• Providing financial modeling, supporting fundraising efforts, and preparing board reports.
• Preparing and presenting financial statements in compliance with standards.
• Leading budgeting processes, variance analysis, and cost/revenue optimization.
• Monitoring cash flow, maintaining liquidity, and forecasting.
• Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensuring tax compliance, managing audits, and staying updated on regulations.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Handling monthly payroll, staff benefits, and statutory deductions.
• Implementing cost-saving measures to enhance profitability.
• Optimizing financial systems and reporting tools.
• Delivering clear financial reports and communicating complex data effectively.
• Collaborating with the Executive team on operational evaluations.

The Candidate should have:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with significant post-qualified experience.
• Alternatively, qualified by experience with sector-relevant 10+ years of experience.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Manager, preferably in SaaS or IT/Tech sectors.
• Strong stakeholder management skills for collaboration across departments and with the Board.
• Proficiency in Excel and Xero (preferred).
• Comprehensive accounting experience covering budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
