Job Description:

Fantastic opportunity for an established Financial Controller or Finance Manager to join an ambitious and growing SaaS business on a part-time basis.

As they scale, they are looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee financial management and provide strategic guidance to drive sustainable growth. You will collaborate with the Board and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity and align strategies with company goals.

The role:

• Track and analyze key KPIs.
• Partner with leadership on pricing models, unit economics, and growth forecasts.
• Provide financial modelling, support for fundraising, and board reporting.
• Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Lead budgeting, variance analysis, and recommend cost optimization and revenue growth opportunities.
• Monitor cash flow and develop forecasts.
• Develop and implement financial strategies with senior leadership.
• Ensure tax compliance, manage audits, and stay updated on regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Handle monthly payroll, staff benefits, and deductions.
• Identify cost-saving measures to improve profitability.
• Optimize financial systems and reporting tools.
• Deliver financial reports to stakeholders and communicate data effectively.
• Work with the Executive team to evaluate operations.

The Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with significant post-qualification experience.

Qualified by experience with sector-relevant experience of 10+ years will also be considered.

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Manager, preferably from a SaaS or IT/Tech business.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Xero (preferred).
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis from A-Z.
