As they scale, they seek a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee financial management and provide strategic financial guidance to drive sustainable growth. You will collaborate closely with the Board and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity and align strategies with company goals.

The role includes:

• Tracking and analyzing key KPIs.
• Partnering with leadership on pricing models, unit economics, and growth forecasts.
• Providing financial modelling, supporting fundraising efforts, and board reporting.
• Preparing and presenting financial statements, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Leading budgeting, variance analysis, and recommending cost optimization and revenue growth opportunities.
• Monitoring cash flow and creating forecasts.
• Developing and implementing financial strategies with senior leadership.
• Ensuring tax compliance, managing audits, and staying updated on regulations.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Handling monthly payroll, staff benefits, and statutory deductions.
• Implementing cost-saving measures for profitability.
• Optimizing financial systems and reporting tools.
• Delivering financial reports to stakeholders and communicating complex data effectively.
• Collaborating with the Executive team to evaluate operations.

The Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• Alternatively, qualified by experience with sector-relevant 10+ years of experience.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Manager, preferably from SaaS or IT/Tech sectors.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of collaborating with Board and multiple departments.
• Proficient in Excel and preferably Xero.
• Comprehensive accounting experience covering budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
