Company Overview

My client is a successful and profitable growing £10m turnover Fashion Supplier with a fantastic client base, including many leading Retail High Street names. Based at their main Design and Distribution hub in Cheetham Hill, Manchester, this ambitious Owner-managed SME has clear plans to expand their range of Brands and develop their E-commerce Sales channels.

Role Details

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Financial Controller will be part of a well-motivated and cohesive Management Team. This is a permanent role with hybrid flexibility to work from home 1 day per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small, efficient Finance & Administration team.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful commentary.
• Develop 'bottom-up' Annual Departmental Budgets and conduct regular Forecasting.
• Engage proactively with all business functions, focusing on Retail and E-commerce Sales channel trading performance and profitability analysis.
• Coordinate with Procurement on Stock purchasing and Stock turn efficiency.
• Maintain regular contact with auditors, banks, insurance providers, and other stakeholders.
• Support the company's profitable growth as a key member of the Management Team.

Candidate Profile

• Hands-on accounting experience combined with commercial acumen and a proactive approach to add value as part of the Management Team.
• Experience in a fast-moving, high-volume trading environment, with specific knowledge of Stock management and multi-channel Sales profitability analysis, including E-Commerce.

Compensation and Benefits

Offering a salary up to £70k, plus an annual Bonus scheme, pension, healthcare schemes, and strong progression opportunities.
