FMCG Jobs, partnering with a London-based Wine and Spirits leader, seeks a newly created Financial Controller to lead monthly management accounts, drive modernisation of finance processes, and shape the future of the finance team. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong management accounting, process improvement, and financial control experience, ideally in FMCG, retail, or drinks.

Formación

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) required.
• Strong management accounting experience and ability to improve processes.
• Robust financial controls knowledge and risk mitigation.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with IT tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own the monthly management accounts and ensure timely, accurate reporting of variances.
• Modernise finance processes using IT tools to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
• Design and monitor financial controls to mitigate business risks.
• Ensure ERP system data accuracy and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Create and refine annual and monthly reports highlighting results, trends and forecasts.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and auditing processes.
• Mentor junior staff and support the Finance Director and Head of Finance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on financial and analytical tasks.
• As the team grows, take on management responsibilities.
