The Role

We are looking for a Financial Controller who can make their mark and drive financial excellence across a multi-entity, fast-moving business.

Here’s how

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and group financial planning processes
• Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and consolidated reporting
• Oversee VAT, payroll, invoicing, and cashflow management
• Manage and develop a small finance team (2 Accounts Assistants)
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Leadership
• Drive process improvement and strengthen financial controls across the business
• Support auction-related financial processes and post-event reconciliation
• Ensure accuracy across multi-entity reporting and intercompany activity

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong background in financial control, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proven leadership experience within a finance team
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in cloud accounting systems (Xero essential)
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
• Experience in a multi-entity or fast-paced commercial environment advantageous
• Confident working both independently and collaboratively
