Job summary

Vanrath is seeking a Financial Controller in Limavady to oversee the finance function and deliver strategic financial insights in a manufacturing-driven environment.

The role offers progression to Finance Director, exposure to external audits, ERP systems, and leadership of a skilled finance team within a forward-looking, global business.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior finance role within manufacturing or engineering.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and manage statutory and management reporting.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory management and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly closes, management accounts and KPI reporting.
• Maintain internal controls, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting.
• Lead statutory compliance including VAT, corporation tax and audits.
• Lead manufacturing finance activities: standard costing, inventory control and margin analysis.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling for strategic decisions.
• Develop and mentor the finance team and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement system enhancements and support automation initiatives.
