Job summary

Distinct Recruitment is helping a well-established group recruit a Financial Controller for a substantial division in Nottingham. The role offers broad ownership across financial control, reporting, audit, cash, working capital and finance operations.

You will lead the Financial Accounting and Transactional Finance teams, driving improvements in controls, reporting, systems and ways of working while developing the wider finance team for future leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with broad Financial Controller or senior finance experience.
• Strong technical grounding across reporting, audit, control and balance sheet management.
• Experience leading financial teams and influencing across the business.

Responsibilities

• Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Statutory accounts and external audit.
• Group reporting and balance sheet control.
• Financial governance, compliance and risk.
