Our client is a highly respected financial services organisation (Mortgage & Savings). Due to a restructure, they are recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller for a 6-month period. The role requires immediate availability and the ability to travel to their Head Office in the East Midlands on Mondays and Tuesdays, with Wed-Fri working from home. A handover period will be provided.
The Financial Controller will oversee a team of 4 (including 2 direct reports) and manage core financial operations such as treasury back office, accounts payable, payments, reconciliations, financial risk evaluation, regulatory compliance, financial statement preparation, auditing coordination, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information, including tax matters supported by third parties.
