Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities.
  • Prepare consolidated management accounts and cashflow forecasts.
  • Lead year-end reporting, audits, and statutory compliance.
  • Develop and implement effective financial systems.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and leadership team, providing clear financial insight.
  • Partner with portfolio management teams to enhance forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with investment and asset teams on project appraisals, financing and performance tracking.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, banks and lenders on funding and investment matters.
  • Support acquisitions, disposals and investment structuring.
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance and returns.
  • Assist with due diligence, integration and ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies.
  • Provide analysis on deal returns, capital deployment and overall group performance.

Skills

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience within private equity or investment environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercially minded, with the confidence to influence non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Hands‑on and adaptable, able to thrive in a developing environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
