SKU Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Financial Controller for a healthcare organisation in Wolverhampton. The role oversees the financial control environment, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis to support growth.

The successful candidate will partner with senior leadership, strengthen financial processes, and develop a robust finance function for the next expansion phase. Salary up to £90,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or senior finance professional.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience within a growing organisation or multi-site environment.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial controls.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial information into actionable insight.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Experience working closely with senior leadership teams.
• Relevant finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial control function.
• Oversee accurate and timely management and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and strengthen financial controls, systems, and processes.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis and insight to senior leadership.
• Monitor budgets, revenue, costs, and profitability across the organisation.
• Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis.
• Oversee month-end and year-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with operational leaders to improve financial performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting, and financial governance.
• Support the continued growth and development of the wider finance function

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join a growing and ambitious healthcare organisation based in Wolverhampton.

This is a key senior finance position, responsible for overseeing the financial control environment, strengthening financial processes, and providing accurate and commercially focused financial insight to support continued growth.
