Responsibilities

• Maintain the UK general ledger with accurate coding and supporting documentation.
• Own the UK close calendar and management accounting pack.
• Prepare the UK VAT return package and coordinate payroll inputs with the provider.
• Support the US Controller with group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1. Maintain the UK general ledger, ensuring accurate coding and complete supporting documentation.
• 2. Own the UK close calendar and management-accounting pack, delivering accurate results within deadlines.
• 3. Prepare the UK VAT return package and coordinate payroll inputs with the specialist provider.
• 4. Support the US Controller with group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and statutory-to-group accounting adjustments.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• 1. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or an equivalent recognised accounting qualification.
• 2. Proven industry experience in UK GAAP/FRS 102 and UK VAT preparation.
• 3. A working knowledge and practical experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and ERP systems.
