Job summary

Accountable-Recruitment is recruiting a Financial Controller in Liverpool, hybrid with 2 days in the office. You will own a sizeable finance function during growth and systems transformation, partnering with senior leaders across multiple entities.

You'll lead a finance team, oversee month-end and control processes, ensure audit readiness, and drive improvements across finance systems and processes during a major ERP transformation project.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven FC or senior finance exposure.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams in a multi-entity setup.
• Strong technical accounting and controls background with ERP migration exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of accountants, ensuring robust financial control.
• Own month-end close, reporting, and balance sheet integrity.
• Drive process improvements across finance and systems.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and developing a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants
• Owning month-end close, reporting and financial control processes
• Ensuring balance sheet integrity and audit readiness
• Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and systems
• Supporting a significant finance transformation project, including ERP migration
• Partnering with senior leadership across a multi-entity operation
