Job summary

HL Display UK seeks an Area Financial Controller to lead a small finance team and report to the Area Controller. You will manage monthly accounts, budgets, audits, and treasury, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience of finance manager role in an MNC.
• University degree or above with related field, finance, accounting, auditing.
• Good knowledge/skill of finance (GL Accounting, Tax, costing, AP&AR, Reporting) and ERP system.
• Good communication and leadership skill.
• Good English Skills (written and verbal).
• Skilled in MS Office and highly proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts, budgets, cost centre reports and financial planning forecasts.
• Manage annual audits, tax filings, and statutory accounts preparation.
• Cash management and treasury duties.
• Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Ledgers.
• Maintenance of complete and accurate financial ledgers and accounting processes in line with UK GAAP (FRS102), laws and regulations.
• Maintain an effective internal control system.
• Maintain finance module in ERP systems.
• Provide training and coaching where necessary.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Financial Controller to join our team. This key role will report directly to the Area Controller and will be responsible for leading a small team of an Assistant Accountant and Accounting Assistants.
