Base pay range

Goodman Masson is exclusively partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed media-tech business to hire a talented Financial Controller. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-scaling, highly profitable company where you’ll take a lead role in shaping the finance function during a critical phase of expansion.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you’ll manage a team of five across financial & management reporting, FP&A, and audit. This is a broad, hands-on role with real influence – ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to make change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery of statutory and management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Oversee financial reporting, tax, audit, treasury, and internal controls
• Drive finance transformation, improving systems, processes, and controls
• Manage FP&A processes
• Maintain cash flow visibility and support working capital management
• Lead on VAT submissions and tax compliance
• Provide strategic business partnering to divisional leaders and non-finance teams
• Be a key driver of financial discipline and control across the business

About You:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience in a similar role
• A hands-on leader with strong technical background
• Prior experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (ideally PE-backed but not a requirement)
• Strong communicator who can build trust across finance and non-finance
• A natural problem solver – proactive, solutions-driven and process-focused
