A high-profile, rapidly expanding logistics business is recruiting for a Financial Controller. This company is growing organically and through acquisitions following recent investment. Based in modern offices in Heathrow, this is an exciting opportunity to join an industry-leading organization. There is scope for growth and future promotion. In this role, you will partner with a driven Managing Director, championing the commercial performance of the business. The role is predominantly office-based with scope to work one day a week from home.

Your New Role

As Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading the finance team to deliver monthly results for UK and international entities.
2. Managing the year-end process and audits, with accounts prepared in IFRS.
3. Overseeing the shared service centre and partnering with the MD to drive commercial performance.
4. Developing the FP&A function to provide insightful analysis for decision-making.
5. Reporting to the International Finance Director on European business performance and ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines.
6. Participating in future projects, including acquisition accounting.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Experience as a Financial Controller or finance leader, qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or MBA.
• Experience in logistics or freight industries.
• Recent hands-on financial controlling experience.
• Strong business partnering skills.
• Comfortable working four days in the office.
