Part-time Financial Controller wanted in South London

About the role:

The role is to work with our client in their construction business. This is a rapidly growing business who needs an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller to lead the finance function and to support the business with providing clearer visibility around the financials on a part time basis.

About You:

You should be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Preferably, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.

Your expertise should include:

preparation of management accounts/reports

balance sheet reconciliations

cashflow and profit forecasting

experience and working knowledge of Xero

experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls

be commercially experienced

year-end processes (but not statutory accounts)

experience with WIP calculations

experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs

proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders

you must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years) with experience managing a finance team.

As this role is two days a week (self employed basis) it could work alongside other client work

Rate of pay: £38 per hour

Location: London South - 2 days p/week
