Job summary

Journey Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Financial Controller for a not-for-profit client near High Wycombe to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting and planning. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage a team and support senior leadership with strategic decision-making through detailed analysis.

This is a mainly remote role, with 1 day in the office and 4 days from home. The salary is up to £60,000 depending on experience, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Proven staff management experience is essential.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in financial modelling, Excel, and finance software.
• Experience in year end, external audit and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation.
• Develop financial models and cash flow forecasts.
• Analyse budgets and provide financial insights to support strategy.
• Produce timely management accounts and reports.
• Collaborate with budget holders and senior leaders.
• Lead financial reporting, external audit and VAT requirements.

Our forward-thinking not for profit client are based near High Wycombe and are seeking a Financial Controller to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting and planning.
