Job summary

Dudley College of Technology in the West Midlands invites applications for a Financial Controller. You will work with the Head of Finance to develop and operate the financial strategy and oversee College budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

The role covers financial accounting, statutory accounts, funding returns, cash flow and taxation matters, with a focus on internal control and continuous improvement of finance services to support long-term sustainability.

Financial Controller

£48,383 - £61,263 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the college finance team. The successful candidate will assist the Head of Finance in development and operation of financial strategy in line with the organisational strategic plans linked to the college and any subsidiaries or linked organisations. The Financial Controller will have responsibility for the college’s financial viability and long-term sustainability though financial accounting of the college including management accounts, statutory accounts, funding body returns, cash flow and taxation matters. The Financial Controller will support the Head of Finance in promoting excellent financial management and internal control as well as ensuring continuous improvement and the effective and efficient delivery of all finance services.
