Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with a growing consultancy to recruit a part-time Financial Controller for the Greater Belfast area. The role leads the finance function and provides high-quality commercial insight to the senior leadership team.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, drive budgeting and forecasting, oversee transactional finance including payroll, VAT and compliance, and coordinate year-end with external accountants. Hybrid and flexible working options available.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong senior finance experience.
• Strong management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management experience.
• Strong excel & IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts & reporting packs.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow cycles.
• Oversee transactional finance, working capital, payroll, VAT and statutory compliance.
• Manage the year-end process and relationships with external accountants and auditors.
• Strengthen financial controls, systems, reporting dashboards and processes.
• Support pricing, strategic planning and wider business growth initiatives.

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a growing consultancy business to recruit a part-time Financial Controller to join its team based in the Greater Belfast area.

Following continued growth, the organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of its finance function and provide high-quality commercial insight to the senior leadership team.

The Rewards:

The Role:

As the successful Financial Controller you will report directly to the Company Directors, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts & reporting packs;

The Person:
