Financial Controller - £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Your new role

As Financial Controller, you will be a key member of the senior management team, leading the finance function to support the business. You will provide financial advice to Directors and lead initiatives including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, cash management, and variance analysis. You will also play a vital role in securing and managing grant funding during a period of growth and investment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Professional Credentials: Recently or partly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to drive financial targets and improve finance functions.
• Financial Expertise: Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts, management accounts, and interpreting financial performance, cash management, and compliance.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiar with accounting software (knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus).
• Proactive Approach: Self-starter capable of translating business needs into strategies and leading change.
