CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting an established SME based in Andover as they appoint a Financial Controller. Working with the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of day-to-day financial operations while providing insight, challenge and commercial support to shape the business direction.

You will lead financial operations, oversee management accounts, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, stock control, and liaise with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Qualified or qualified-by-experience finance professionals with proven senior finance management experience, ideally within an SME environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial operations to ensure robust control and accurate reporting, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the production of management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to facilitate ongoing business growth.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and business partnering across senior and operational teams to optimise profitability and efficiency.
• Maintain control over stock valuation, inventory reconciliations, and identify risks related to stock management.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and driving continuous process improvements within the finance function.
