Job summary

Intrum in Glasgow is seeking a Customer Support Representative to help customers facing financial difficulty with empathetic, tailored solutions. You will handle a range of accounts and conduct meaningful conversations to reduce debt while complying with Consumer Duty regulations.

The role is 40 hours weekly with shifts Mon-Fri 08:00–19:00 and Sat 08:00–14:00, and begins with a few weeks in-office induction before hybrid working. A supportive, value-driven culture awaits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in contact center or in-person settings.
• Strong communication skills and empathy when helping customers.
• Ability to handle sensitive or challenging conversations with resilience.

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers in financial difficulty and propose tailored solutions, such as repayment plans.
• Make and receive calls across multiple accounts (car finance, bank accounts, credit cards, loans, etc.) and investigate debt details.
• Provide personalised, transparent service delivering tailored solutions to reduce debt.
• Ensure delivery and compliance with Consumer Duty regulations and drive fair outcomes.
