Job summary

LendInvest in Glasgow is seeking a Customer Support Advisor on a 12‑month fixed term contract. You’ll be the voice of our company, delivering empathetic support, practical solutions and high‑level care to our customers.

This role handles mortgage or account queries, supports customers in financial difficulty and vulnerable customers, and ensures accurate record keeping with timely follow‑ups. We operate a hybrid working policy with three days in the office and two days remotely, offering a

Qualifications

Experience in telephony-based customer service, preferably in finance or banking.
Ability to stay calm and professional in high-stress situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex terms clearly.
Comfortable navigating multiple systems and databases simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with mortgage or account-related queries.
Support customers who are experiencing financial difficulty and set up sustainable options with empathy.
Support vulnerable or long-term customers to ensure they get the most out of our service.
Resolve complaints and escalate complex issues when required.
Maintain precise records of all interactions and schedule follow-up actions.
