Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional with experience in audit, assurance, risk, governance or related finance discipline.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, governance frameworks and risk management principles.
• Experience leading projects, teams or organisational change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial assurance activity across a large, complex organisation.
• Develop and embed effective financial control and assurance frameworks.
• Identify emerging risks and recommend practical control improvements.
• Lead counter-fraud activities including prevention, detection and response.
• Provide advice on fraud risks, investigations and compliance matters.
• Use data analytics to identify trends, control weaknesses and risks.
• Support leadership with assurance reporting and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen governance and promote best practice.
• Manage and develop a small specialist team.
• Contribute to wider risk management and compliance strategies.
