• Prepare monthly cash flow and working capital reports for senior leadership.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and translate data into recommendations.
• Investigate discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement, including AI and automation in cash analysis.

As a Finance Analyst - Working Capital, you will play a key role in improving business performance through effective cash flow management and working capital optimisation.

Working within the UK Corporate Finance team, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Commercial functions, providing insightful analysis, reporting and forecasting across receivables, payables, inventory and capital expenditure.

By transforming complex financial data into meaningful insights, you will help identify risks, trends and opportunities, support strategic decision-making and contribute to improved cash performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant, or someone qualified by experience, who has strong analytical skills and enjoys turning financial data into actionable business insights.

What You'll Be Doing

• Analyse key working capital metrics, including receivables, payables, inventory, customer advances and capital expenditure.
• Develop insightful reports, dashboards and forecasts to support effective business decision-making.
• Partner with Finance, Operations and Commercial teams to identify opportunities to improve cash flow and working capital performance.
• Prepare monthly cash flow and working capital reports for senior leadership.
• Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities, translating complex data into clear recommendations.
• Investigate discrepancies in financial data and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of AI and automation to enhance cash analysis and reporting processes.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant, or qualified by experience.
• Experience in cash flow forecasting, working capital analysis or operational finance.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with complex financial data.
• Experience using ERP systems or business intelligence tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and recommend practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial insights clearly to a range of stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships across Finance, Operations and Commercial teams.
• A proactive mindset, with an interest in continuous improvement, automation and data-driven decision-making.

Security Clearance Requirement

Due to the nature of the work, this position requires Security Check (SC) clearance.

Existing SC clearance would be advantageous. However, applicants who do not currently hold clearance must be willing and able to undergo the necessary vetting process, achieve the required clearance and maintain it before commencing employment.

To be eligible for full SC clearance, applicants will generally need to have lived in the UK for the previous 5 years. In certain circumstances, a minimum of 3 years' UK residence within the last 5 years may be accepted, subject to additional overseas checks.
