Job summary

Frasers Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Finance team. You will develop, analyse and create tools, models and reports used by the business, with a numbers-driven mindset and clear communication to stakeholders.

You will update a bi-yearly forecast report, produce ad-hoc analyses of store forecasts in Excel, and write optimized SQL queries for large data sets. The role involves collaborating globally and driving financial automation projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills; VBA and Power Query are a plus.
• Strong financial skills with professional qualifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. Dream).

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain a bi-yearly Excel financial forecast report by collecting data from stakeholders, validating inputs, and delivering insights.
• Produce ad-hoc reports and detailed analysis of store forecasts using Excel.
• Write and optimise database queries.
• Work with large data sets to analyse, interpret and inform decisions."
• Assist in implementing financial automation projects.
• Identify trends and provide rationale to senior decision-makers.
• Collaborate with financial and non-financial stakeholders across the global business.
