Job summary

Jackson Hogg Limited is assisting an international retail business in appointing an immediately available Finance Analyst on a temporary basis to support its UK operation.

The role covers Retail and Wholesale, delivering financial insight, performance analysis and decision support. You will engage with senior stakeholders, manage priorities and add value from day one, supporting month-end close and reporting through Power BI dashboards.

Qualifications

• Finance Analyst experience required.
• Retail/Wholesale sector experience preferred.
• Strong month-end and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and commercial support across Retail and Wholesale operations.
• Deliver P&L analysis, budgeting and forecasting support.
• Produce KPI reporting and performance analysis.
• Support month-end activities and financial reporting.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business.
• Review costs, identify trends and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Support and develop reporting tools, including Power BI dashboards.

I'm working on behalf of a well-known international retail business that is looking to appoint an immediately available Finance Analyst on a temporary basis to support its UK operation.

This is a commercially focused role supporting both the Retail and Wholesale divisions, working closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, performance analysis and decision-making support. You'll be joining a fast-paced environment where you'll need to be confident communicating with stakeholders, managing priorities and adding value from day one.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide financial and commercial support across Retail and Wholesale operations
• Deliver P&L analysis, budgeting and forecasting support
• Produce KPI reporting and performance analysis
• Support month-end activities and financial reporting
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business
• Review costs, identify trends and highlight risks and opportunities
• Support and develop reporting tools, including Power BI dashboards

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Previous Finance Analyst experience
• Retail and/or wholesale sector experience
• Strong month-end and bookkeeping knowledge
• The ability to work proactively and think on their feet
• Power BI experience
• Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA status, although qualified by experience candidates will also be considered
