Job summary

Arcade is seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights across our hospitality venues. Based in our Support Office with regular venue visits, you will partner with Operations, Marketing and Sales to drive performance and commercial decisions.

You’ll deliver dashboards, variance analyses, budgeting support and financial modelling, while ensuring data integrity across POS, payroll and finance systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-site hospitality, retail or leisure business is preferred.
• Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, ERP platforms and POS reporting systems.
• 2-4 years of commercial finance, FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• Confident presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Produce daily, weekly and monthly trading reports.
• Build performance dashboards for sites and senior leadership.
• Analyze sales, gross margin, labour, overheads and channel performance.
• Deliver variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and monthly management accounts.
• Assist with menu engineering, pricing reviews and promotional analysis.
• Create financial models for new initiatives and site openings.
• Partner with General Managers and Operations to drive performance.
• Automate and improve reporting through Excel and Power BI.
• Ensure data integrity across POS, payroll and finance systems.

About The Role

Arcade is looking for a commercially minded Finance Analyst to help turn financial and operational data into meaningful actions that improve performance across our growing group of hospitality venues. You’ll be joining a fast-paced, multi-site hospitality business where Finance works closely with operational teams and has a genuine influence on commercial decisions. The role will be based in our Support Office, with regular visits to our venues.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with Operations, Marketing and Sales to understand what is driving performance across our sites. You’ll analyse sales, covers, spend per head, margins, labour and overheads, identifying risks, highlighting opportunities and helping teams make better commercial decisions.

This is a business-facing role for someone who wants to do more than report historical numbers. You’ll explain what is happening, uncover why it is happening and recommend what the business should do next.

Key Responsibilities

We'd Love To Hear From You If You

• Bring experience in a similar role within a multi-site hospitality, retail or leisure business.
• Are part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA—or qualified through relevant experience.
• Bring strong knowledge of Power BI, ERP platforms and POS reporting systems.
• Have two to four years’ experience in commercial finance, FP&A or financial analysis.
• Bring advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• Are extremely confident presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Possess the ability to challenge assumptions and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Are proactive, detail-oriented approach and comfort working at pace.
