TEMPLEGATE RECRUITMENT is seeking an ambitious Financial Adviser to join a growing financial planning business in Nottingham. You will manage an established client bank, conduct meetings, and provide tailored recommendations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Experience in financial planning or wealth management is preferred; Level 4 qualification is required, with a view to supporting professional development and industry exams.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 4 Financial Adviser qualification.
• Trainee Adviser with relevant experience may be considered.
• Previous experience in financial planning or wealth management preferred.
• Ambitious, passionate and eager to develop career; a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an established client bank (~300 clients).
• Conduct client meetings and regular reviews.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Assess clients' financial circumstances, objectives and needs.
• Prepare and present recommendations to clients.
• Ensure advice and activity comply with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with paraplanning and administration teams.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Support business growth and development efforts.

Our client is a growing financial planning business with an established client base of approximately 300 clients. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Financial Adviser to join their close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and servicing an established client bank of approximately 300 clients
• Conducting client meetings and regular reviews
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
• Assessing clients' financial circumstances, objectives and needs
• Preparing and presenting recommendations to clients
• Ensuring all advice and client activity is carried out in line with regulatory requirements
• Working closely with the paraplanning and administration teams
• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the business

What We're Looking For:

• Level 4 qualified Financial Adviser
• A trainee Adviser with the appropriate experience and a clear desire to progress may also be considered
• Previous experience within financial planning or wealth management
• Someone who is ambitious, passionate and hungry to develop their career
• A team player who will be a strong cultural fit within the existing team

Desirable Skills:

• Experience managing an established client bank
• Experience within an IFA or wealth management environment
