Wealthlink Recruitment is partnering with an established Dorset wealth management firm to recruit a Level 4 qualified Financial Adviser. You will service an existing client base from day one, delivering holistic financial planning with strong regulatory compliance.

The role is office-based in Dorset with paraplanning and admin support, and only occasional travel to the Northampton office. If you value client service over chasing new business, this is a great fit.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Financial Adviser within an IFA, Wealth Management or Financial Planning firm.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products.
• Full UK driving licence and compliance with FCA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Providing holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Managing and developing relationships with an existing portfolio of clients.
• Conducting annual reviews and ongoing financial planning meetings.
• Identifying clients' financial goals and recommending suitable solutions.
• Preparing for client meetings with support from paraplanning and administration teams.
• Working with internal teams to ensure an excellent client experience.

Our client is a respected, established Wealth Management firm based in Dorset, offering an excellent opportunity for a Level 4 qualified Financial Adviser to join their growing team. With an existing client base and a strong pipeline of enquiries, you'll have clients to service from day one, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, holistic financial advice.

The Role

As a Financial Adviser, you'll provide tailored financial planning advice to an established portfolio of clients, helping them achieve their financial objectives while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Managing and developing relationships with an existing portfolio of clients.
• Conducting annual reviews and ongoing financial planning meetings.
• Identifying clients' financial goals and recommending suitable solutions.
• Preparing for client meetings alongside the administration and paraplanning teams.
• Working closely with internal support teams to ensure an excellent client experience.
• Ensuring all advice complies with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements.
• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation.
• Building trusted, long‑term relationships through exceptional service.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys building lasting client relationships and delivering quality advice rather than focusing on winning new business.

You'll ideally have:

• Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Financial Adviser within an IFA, Wealth Management or Financial Planning firm.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A client‑first approach with a commitment to delivering excellent outcomes.
• Good understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty.
