IDEX Consulting Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Financial Adviser to join its established practice in the United Kingdom.

The role offers an opportunity to manage a portfolio of retail clients and potentially employee benefits clients, with support from an in-house investment team and dedicated paraplanning/admin staff. You will deliver high-quality financial planning and advice, grow new business, and meet KPIs while maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Working towards Chartered status or commit to progress.
• Experienced in delivering financial advice and managing client relationships.
• Experience in both retail financial planning and employee benefits preferred.
• Commercially minded with ability to generate new business and develop relationships.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with a wider support team.

The Opportunity

An established, chartered financial planning practice is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Adviser to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Adviser who can hit the ground running, whether bringing an existing client bank or looking to develop within an established business. The successful candidate will benefit from an existing portfolio of legacy clients, a dedicated support team and access to an in-house investment team and established investment proposition.

The Role

• Provide high-quality financial planning and advice to retail clients
• Ideally, support both individual financial planning and employee benefits clients
• Manage and develop client relationships, delivering excellent service and long-term value
• Work closely with dedicated Administrators, Client Account Managers and Paraplanners
• Contribute to business growth through new business generation and fee income
• Work towards achieving agreed KPIs and business objectives
• Maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance and professional development

About You

• Minimum level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Currently working towards Chartered status, or committed to progressing towards it
• Experienced in delivering financial advice and managing client relationships
• Ideally experienced in both retail financial planning and employee benefits
• Commercially minded, with the ability to generate new business and develop existing relationships
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider support team

Salary & Bonus

• Basic salary: £55,000-£65,000, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Performance-related bonus: linked to new business fee income and the achievement of agreed KPIs

The new business bonus structure is based on fees generated and paid during the relevant period:

• Up to 1.5 times basic salary in new business fees: no bonus
• Between 1.5 and 2 times basic salary: 15% bonus
• Above 2 times basic salary: 30% bonus

A trail income bonus is also available at the same percentage achieved for new business fee income once the new business target has been met. This is not paid in addition to the new business bonus.

Bonus awards are performance-based, assessed annually against weighted KPIs and subject to eligibility criteria and governance review.

Investment Proposition

The practice has an in-house investment team and a centralised investment proposition, including:

• Five whole-of-market portfolios
• Five ethical portfolios
• Passive investment strategies

This provides Advisers with established investment solutions to support their client recommendations.

• Hybrid working following probation: typically one day working from home per week, increasing to two days for employees living 30 miles or more from the office, subject to agreement

• One study day and one exam day off
