Job summary

Investigo partners with a large, well-established business to appoint an ambitious Financial Accounting Manager who will own financial control, systems governance and lead a high-performing accounting team. You will drive month-end performance, strengthen controls, and act as the link between finance operations, reporting and systems, shaping how finance operates moving forward.

You will influence stakeholders, take ownership of the chart of accounts and reporting structures, and play a key role

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.
• Strong financial accounting and controls background.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Proven ownership of month-end close and statutory reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
• Own the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the financial ledger.
• Drive an efficient month-end and year-end close process.
• Take responsibility for chart of accounts, financial master data and reporting structures.
• Improve controls, governance and financial processes across the business.
• Partner with auditors, senior finance leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives.

This is far more than a traditional Financial Accounting Manager role.

You'll be the person ensuring the integrity of the numbers, driving month-end performance, strengthening controls, and acting as the link between finance operations, reporting, and systems. You'll have genuine influence on how finance operates moving forward.

Key Responsibilities
