Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee in Clydebank invites applications for a Financial Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. The role supports the Financial Accountant, Ledger Supervisor and Financial Accounting Officers in delivering Accounts Payable, Receivable and Treasury objectives.

You will process invoices, inputs financial data, and help with various projects, using strong Excel and MS Office skills. Experience in finance is helpful but not essential, and NHS Golden Jubilee supports flexible

• Good communication skills.

About You

We are looking for a motivated person who has excellent Excel and IT skills also knowledge of all Microsoft Packages. Good communication skills and experience of working in a finance environment although this is not essential.

About The Role

This is a support role within Finance, and consists of the following:-

• To support the Financial Accountant, Ledger Supervisor, and Financial Accounting Officers in the delivery of Accounts Payable, Receivable and Treasury objectives
• Work as directed by the Assistant Financial Accountant to process Accounts Payable and Receivable invoices accurately and timeously ensuring adherence to departmental timetables
• Inputs and processes financial information, completing routine financial transactions in accordance with procedures to ensure continuity of supplies and services for the board
• Work as directed to support completion of various projects
