We are looking for Financial Accountant to join our team. If you are looking for challenging projects in a start-up environment with high autonomy and ownership this offer is for you.

Salary: starting from 3,000 EU

Key responsibilities:

1. Technical accounting for ZEN UAB
2. Collection of data related to PSP (Payment Service Provider) transactions from the Settlement department
3. Distribution of collected data by individual PSP’s
4. Processing and systematization of collected data by individual PSP, checking of processed data.
5. Posting clients’ accounts bank statements, checking of posed bank accounts records

Other postings required for closing accounting periods:

1. Reconciliation of records with the general ledger accounts and client’s bank accounts
2. Recording of data into accounting system related to bank’s transactions
3. Reconciliation and check of bank’s data from bank statements
4. Maintain Fixed asset register and record all related accounting adjustments
5. Maintain accounting records up to date – invoices, payroll, prepayments, accruals, other adjustments
6. Prepare various reports for management and financial reporting
7. Reconciliation of accounting accounts to performed transactions
8. Participation in the month-end closing process
9. Participation in the process of circulation of accounting documents (archiving, checking in terms of formal and accounting)
10. Data reconciliation between reports and systems
11. Tax calculations – VAT and corporation tax - Lithuania
12. Review and ensure correctness of financial transactions
13. Ensure efficient workflow of accounting documentation
14. Optimization of accounting processes

We're looking for people with:

1. Higher economic education (major in accounting and finance or related)
2. +3 years of experience in a similar role
3. Experience in a similar position in accounting and finance
4. Experience in banking / fintech sector / EMIs
5. Fluency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel and Power Point
6. Fluent English (spoken and written) is a must
7. Willingness to further professional development and meet new challenges
8. Analytical thinking skills
9. Very good interpersonal and organizational skills
10. Good knowledge of tax regulations and the Accounting Act
11. Timeliness, meticulousness
12. Initiative in daily work
13. Easy making new contacts and building relationships, the ability to work in a team
