We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team. If you are seeking challenging projects in a start-up environment with high autonomy and ownership, this opportunity is for you.

Salary: starting from 3,000 EUR

Key responsibilities:

• Technical accounting for ZEN UAB
• Collection of data related to PSP (Payment Service Provider) transactions from the Settlement department
• Distribution of collected data by individual PSPs
• Processing and systematization of collected data by individual PSPs, checking of processed data
• Posting clients’ bank statements, verifying bank account records

Other postings required for closing accounting periods:

• Reconciliation of records with the general ledger and client bank accounts
• Recording data into accounting systems related to bank transactions
• Reconciliation and verification of bank data from bank statements
• Maintain Fixed Asset register and record related accounting adjustments
• Maintain up-to-date accounting records: invoices, payroll, prepayments, accruals, other adjustments
• Prepare reports for management and financial statements
• Reconciliation of accounts with transactions
• Participation in month-end closing
• Handling circulation of accounting documents (archiving, checking for accuracy)
• Data reconciliation between reports and systems
• Tax calculations – VAT and corporate tax (Lithuania)
• Review and verify the correctness of financial transactions
• Ensure efficient workflow of accounting documentation
• Optimize accounting processes

Requirements:

• Higher education in economics, accounting, finance, or related fields
• Over 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in accounting and finance, preferably in banking/fintech/EMI sectors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to develop professionally and face new challenges
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of tax regulations and the Accounting Act
• Timeliness, meticulousness, initiative
• Ability to build relationships and work in a team
• Problem-solving skills
