Loungers is seeking a Financial Accountant to drive the finance system transformation and own capex, fixed assets, rent accounting, and statutory reporting. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead improvement projects, review policies and support audits, with broad exposure across the finance function.

You’ll be a proactive professional, comfortable coaching junior colleagues, managing priorities and explaining complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders in a fast-paced

Qualificações

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with strong technical knowledge.
• Experience in industry, hospitality or retail advantageous.
• Ability to lead projects from review to implementation and deliver improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Support transition of fixed asset, rent and lease accounting to new system.
• Review fixed asset policies and suggest improvements.
• Oversee fixed asset register and period-end reporting.
• Prepare statutory accounts, liaise with auditors and assist year-end consolidation.
• Prepare government submissions and monthly/annual management accounts for subsidiaries.
• Provide VAT, capital allowances and corporation tax support.
