Job summary

TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for a Financial Accountant for our external client in Durham. The accountant will join the financial department and play a key role in ensuring the integrity of the Group's financial reporting and statutory compliance.

You will lead the year-end audit process, prepare statutory filings, and support the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls across the finance function.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual statutory financial statements in accordance with UK accounting standards (FRS 102)
• Manage all statutory reporting requirements and ensure timely submission of filings with regulatory bodies in accordance with the compliance calendar
• Play a key role external audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and coordinating responses across the business
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and resolve audit queries efficiently
