Job summary

Wade Macdonald is recruiting a Financial Accountant in Uxbridge to support the month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and robust financial controls. You will work across intercompany and fixed asset processes, ensuring accurate VAT treatment and efficient reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified, finalist or qualified-by-experience accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong grounding in financial accounting, month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close, including accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany transactions, cross-charges and reconciliations.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, depreciation schedules and lease accounting support.
• Oversee employee expenses and corporate credit card processes, ensuring VAT accuracy.
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment platforms and other key balance sheet accounts.
• Support stock accounting, including inventory provisions and adjustments.
• Prepare financial information for annual statutory and Group audits.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting across COGS and operating expenses.
• Maintain accurate pricing information and process customer adjustments.
• Collaborate with finance, commercial and operations teams to improve reporting and controls.
