Job summary

Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I in the UK is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to support month-end close, treasury, and statutory audits across three entities. You will drive intercompany reconciliations, cashflow forecasting, and balance sheet accuracy, partnering with Supply Chain and external auditors as needed.

The role offers exposure to IFRS/UK GAAP updates (e.g., IFRS 18), involvement in annual audits, and opportunities to streamline processes in a dynamic FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ACA/CA or CIMA certification.
• FMCG experience preferred.
• ERP transition experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close for intercompany reconciliations, leases, CAPEX, royalties and treasury.
• Lead weekly cashflow forecasting and meetings with stakeholders.
• Forecast consolidated GB&I balance sheet and Free Cash Flow; improve working capital.
• Prepare SAP BPC data loads and reconciliations; assist with annual statutory accounts.
• Support tax reporting for CT and capital allowances; liaise with external auditors.
• Contribute to internal audits and continuous process improvements.
