Job summary

Suntory Holdings Limited in London is seeking a Financial Controller GB&I to lead the Financial Control function, ensuring accurate statutory and management reporting, balance sheet integrity, and Free Cash Flow forecasting. You will drive finance transformation and continuous improvement to support the business's financial health and strategic ambitions.

This role manages 18 people across accounting, accounts payable, credit control, and projects; oversees three entities; ensures IFRS and J-SOX

Qualifications

Qualified accountant with IFRS and J-SOX knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the Financial Control function for GB&I, ensuring accurate statutory and management reporting.
Oversee balance sheets for three legal entities and ensure timely monthly reporting to SBFE and quarterly group reporting to Suntory Holdings.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, J-SOX, tax regulations, and internal controls.
Lead the month-end close process and financial statement preparation.
Manage relationships with GBS shared services and external auditors.
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for balance sheet and Free Cash Flow, driving working capital improvements.
Champion finance transformation and continuous improvement within GB&I.
