Job summary

Edwards & Pearce Limited is seeking a fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA accountant with a broad-based skill set and previous manufacturing sector experience to lead financial accounting duties.

You will prepare management accounts, month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, treasury and cash flow management, VAT returns, and liaise with external auditors as part of a versatile, accuracy-driven finance team.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA accountant with manufacturing sector experience.
• Broad-based skills and technically adept with systems literacy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and liaise across the business.
• Experience in management accounts, month-end reporting, reconciliations, and treasury.

Responsibilities

Job description

Do you want to work in North East Lincolnshire? This Financial Accountant role requires versatility and a broad base skills set. Financial accounting forms only part of this job brief which will suit a versatile, qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA accountant with a previous background in the manufacturing sector. You will prepare management accounts and month end reporting, variance analysis projects, perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and manage the fixed asset register, take responsibility for treasury and cash flow management, prepare quarterly VAT returns and other statutory requirements. You are a fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA versatile accountant with a broad-based skill set, exceptional communication skills and have previous experience of manufacturing sector. Technically adept and systems literate, you are looking for a challenging role where your accuracy and attention to detail will be allowed to shine.

Being able to meet deadlines is essential as is the ability to liaise effectively right across a business.
