Description: Financial Accountant - Engineering - Co. Armagh

Your new company
You will be joining a growing, innovative and passionate manufacturing company in the heart of Co. Armagh. We are working in partnership to appoint a commercially experienced Accountant that will work closely with the Financial Controller and wider operational team in the efficient running of the finance department.

Your new role

• Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts to include Balance Sheet and Control account reconciliations.
• Assist with periodic budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with cashflow reporting.
• Support with cost analysis
• Support to Payroll function.
• Manage the group weekly and monthly payroll functions
• Manage all projects relating to finance.
• Monitor all income and expenditure within the group and recommend any savings.
• Monitor all financial controls and implement changes where necessary.
• Ensure that all VAT, Tax and other government returns are done
• Review all direct debits and credit card expenditure for the site.
• Deal with External Auditors Customs, and HMRC on all our legislative responsibilities
• Company House filing

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a recognised professional with an accounting qualification, preferably CIMA/ACA/ACCA or be in the final stages of exams. Having a thorough understanding of factory processes and experience of product costing would be an advantage.The ability to work to tight deadlines. Effective presentation and report writing skills. Strong IT skills- Excel and
Good organisational and administrative skills.

Desirable Criteria:

Management accounts experience in the manufacturing industry.
Proven experience of financial best practice
Strong experience with SAP system / Excel
