About Our Client

Our client, a well-known and growing business based in Crawley, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their Accountancy team.

Job Description

• The Financial Accountant will be responsible for recording revenue in compliance with IFRS requirements, often for complex agreements. This includes reviewing customer PO's, Statement of Work documents, Master Purchasing Agreements, and Terms & Conditions.
• The day-to-day focus is supporting US revenue accounting; however, flexibility to work across any aspect of revenue recognition, both in the US and globally, is required.
• Supporting documentation of current processes and controls.
• Monthly responsibilities include journal entry preparation for revenue and transfer costs, account reconciliations.
• Uploading financial data to the corporate consolidation system and management reporting using advanced Excel skills such as pivots and VLOOKUPs.
• Additional responsibilities include maintaining revenue amortization schedules, conducting purchase price variance analysis, and provision analysis.
• Requires communication and partnership with FP&A, auditors, accounting, tax, supply chain, order entry, commercial operations, and other business units worldwide.
• Project management experience with analysis and investigation skills.
• Some flexibility in working hours may be required to support US-based colleagues.
