Job

The role of Financial Accountant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements and monthly reporting
• Managing the monthly financial accounting process alongside the Finance Manager
• Maintaining and enforcing financial policies and procedures
• Overseeing VAT returns and optimising VAT cost recovery
• Managing and developing the finance system
• Reviewing payroll processing and ensuring compliance
• Contributing to external funding opportunities and audits
• Leading the accounts receivable team and ensuring high-quality team performance

You

As a Financial Accountant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

• A degree level education or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Ideally holding a professional accountancy qualification
• Experience in financial reporting within a varied role
• Demonstrable ability to manage priorities, workload, and lead a team towards objectives
• Strong communication and influencing skills with an ability to engage with stakeholders
