Job description

Would you like to work for a company that is driven to empower biomedical innovation? We are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to form part of their team based at their offices in South Cambridge.


Working as part of a team of 3 in finance, this role will support the Finance Director to produce all aspects of financial management. The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  1. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  2. Assist in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts.
  3. Prepare and publish timely monthly management accounts.
  4. Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  5. Prepare, manage and oversee annual audits.
  6. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

You will ideally be ACCA or ACA qualified with experience in a financial accounting role. You must have effective time management and prioritisation skills.
