Job summary
EMBL is seeking a Workday Solution Expert – Finance to lead the ERP transformation across six sites and five countries. You will translate business needs into scalable Workday configurations, manage roadmaps, and liaise with ERP partners while ensuring compliance and system adoption.
You will train finance staff, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement, working in a hybrid environment with international stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum three years' experience in Finance systems, ERP implementation or process optimization.
- Experience with Workday system and cross‑functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Identify departmental needs and translate into Workday product requirements.
- Prioritize features and enhancements with management.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver Workday solutions.
- Manage product roadmaps, timelines and stakeholder communication.
- Evaluate Workday releases and coordinate adoption of new functionality.
- Provide training and support to finance staff.
- Document process changes and maintain training materials.
- Support external implementation partners and vendors.
