Job summary

EA First, partnering with a Coventry-based Social Housing Provider, is recruiting a Finance Transformation & Systems Manager on an 18-month FTC. The role pays £70,000 per annum with hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent).
• Experience within a registered provider of social housing.
• Strong understanding of social housing finance, regulatory requirements and reporting.
• Demonstrable finance transformation and/or process improvement experience.
• Experience leading or playing a significant role in a finance system implementation.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on.
• Experience preparing an organisation for growth or regulatory change is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the RSH regulatory framework and financial viability standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement of a new finance system from requirements to vendor selection.
• Manage the implementation programme including configuration, testing and training.
• Ensure integration between the finance system and wider organisational platforms.
• Develop reporting capabilities to meet internal management and regulatory needs.
• Review and improve existing finance processes, controls and reporting.
• Streamline and automate processes to improve efficiency across finance.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and stronger financial reporting.
• Support readiness for compliance requirements as a large registered provider.
• Review and strengthen financial controls and processes; support audit activity.
